STEP 1
Your patient arrives at your health center and uses a tablet to complete their health information, which is stored on a secure server for the doctor’s review.
STEP 2
Your in-office technician takes the patient to your pre-testing area and conducts all required pretests and diagnostics required for a comprehensive eye exam. All results are recorded in the cloud for the remote doctor’s review.
STEP 3
After transferring to the exam lane, your patient is greeted by one of our qualified ophthalmic technicians via high-definition video technology. Our technicians remotely control your digital phoropter to conduct an initial subjective refraction. The remote doctor can also control the phoropter to refine the refraction remotely.
STEP 4
The remote optometrist then joins your patient via high-definition video and conducts the patient examination including consultation - showing them their retinal images, sharing their findings, and answering your patient's questions before issuing the prescription which is immediately available.

The staff member who provides optical pre-screening will stay in the exam room with the patient. At the same time, the phoropter is operated remotely by our certified ophthalmic technician and optometrist.
The doctor will refer the patient to your in-office doctor or a specializing optometrist or ophthalmologist, as necessary.
A single clinic room or two smaller rooms are all that is necessary to provide eye care services to your patients while increasing patient flow.
Yes. Your in-office and remote doctors can use the same new technology and digital exam lane to deliver the highest quality patient care.
You might already have digitally capable technology in your clinic. We will review your current equipment and help you determine if additional equipment is needed, and if so, we’ll help you source new equipment with preferred pricing and favorable lease/purchase terms.
