Creating The Gold Standard

Integrating Tele-Optometry solutions to delivery of patient eyecare is one of the most important technology decisions you’ll take. You want to deliver greater access, value, and experiences to your patients, while also setting your teams up with easy-to-use/intuitive streamlined operations, opportunities to innovate, and the ability to adapt to changes down the road.

DigitalOptometrics offers tested and proven reliable technology solutions that provide the necessary capabilities for Tele-Optometry implementations. Ensuring appropriate security setup, compliance, and integration with existing Pre-Test and Refraction Diagnostic Equipment.

DigitalOptometrics’ system is unique from other systems in the Tele-Optometry industry as it seamlessly integrates with existing optometric tools. Our goal is to help reduce the cost of entry as well as the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for implementing, operating, and supporting our integrated Tele-Optometry model.

The Elements of a DigitalOptometrics Comprehensive Eye Health Exam and Vision Analysis

Our system differs from other telehealth eye care systems primarily because it consists of a comprehensive eye health and vision analysis that includes subjective refraction and allows for live voice and visual communication between the remote doctor and patient. Patient ocular data is examined from over 10 health and vision analysis tests.

  • Chief Complaint: Assessment of the patient’s reason for getting an eye exam
  • General Physical Health History: Complete health history to screen for physical conditions and medications that may affect eyesight
  • General Ocular Health History: Complete eye health history including a family history of eye conditions, disease, or medication
  • External and Internal Eye Health Evaluation: Examination for the signs of eye disorders, including cataracts and other eye disorders.
  • Fundus Photos
  • Anterior Segment Videos
  • Cover/uncover and alternate cover testing
  • Pupillary response testing
  • Assessment of Extraocular Motility
  • Lensometry
  • Autorefraction
  • Keratometry (automated)
  • Visual field testing
  • Tonometry (non-contact)
  • Visual Acuity uncorrected and with current glasses
  • Full refraction, including Binocular Balance, add, and prism if necessary

Markets We Serve

#4-D

Optometry

As the Tele-Optometry ‘provider of choice’, DigitalOptometrics leads the market as the proven telehealth partner bringing a scaled, patient centric, OD driven, integrated service offering to the vision market.

The DigitalOptometrics platform is built by optometrists for optometrists and uses responsible telemedicine to supplement the extraordinary care you deliver.

You have established a reputation for being comprehensive and your telehealth solution should model the same. It should be an extension of the overall care your practice provides.

We know the hard work and dedication it takes to build a practice and earn the trust of your patients. We also understand how fragile that trust can be. We are equally committed to protecting that trust as your Tele-Optometry provider.

Opthalmology

Ophthalmology

Now, more than ever, ophthalmology practices have the opportunity and obligation to leverage their resources and strengthen their specialties to grow their bottom lines.

We understand that before practices can focus on enhancing clinical efficiency to improve their revenues, they must engage in defining the strategic vision for the practice. This means exploring current and emerging systems and technologies that can create long-term growth.

Dr

Optical Providers

If you are finding it difficult to hire doctors, you are not alone. The good news is that we have doctors ready to see patients 7 days a week, coast to coast.

Perhaps you have onsite doctors and would like to have your doctors conduct remote exams or a combination of both. Our system is designed for use by the onsite optometrist, remote-based optometrist, or a combination, with the flip of a switch.

Expand exam availability, regardless of how many weeks or months you are currently booked out. Appointments are now made by patients on dates and times they seek rather than based on the availability of an Optometrist to conduct an eye exam. Extended hours/multiple locations can be operated with a remote-based optometrist eliminating on-site staffing at each location.

Mobile

“Necessity is the mother of invention” is a well-known proverb. It means, roughly, that the primary driving force for most new inventions is a need. While we don’t yet know the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we do know this: life and business have both changed overnight and things will continue to change drastically. This has also created the foundation for future innovation and adaptation.

The capabilities delivered by telehealth will be more necessary than ever as the world emerges from the health and economic challenges we currently face. They’ll go from being tools that offer a competitive advantage to essentials for ongoing business survival.

As the leaders in the Tele-Optometry space, and as such, we also consider ourselves to be change agents for the industry. Taking the initiative to work collaboratively with state and provincial regulatory/compliance governances, national industry associations, as well as colleges of optometry as trusted partners helping to create alignment of purpose regarding patient access, unmet patient needs, and improved patient care via the utilization of Tele-Optometry services

We are proud to partner with The Illinois College Of Optometry as well as the University Of Montreal. We look forward to partnering with additional learning institutions in the near future. Preparing future optometrists to utilize responsible Tele-Optometry will be essential to future curriculums.
